History as Ecology Series with Conrad: 1. Fields in the Forest

Join Conrad Vispo of Farmscape Ecology Program in the first installment of the History of Ecology walk and workshop happening this autumn/winter. You’ll learn about botany, the history of farming in this county’s landscape, identify trees and shrubs as indicators of past land use, and use technology to facilitate exporation. With this series you can mix natural history with human history in a way that might add another dimension to your regional walks.
