The Center for Social Research and The Nature Institute will welcome Peter Heusser, MD, and Gopi Krishna Vijaya, Ph.D, to Harlemville on May 9 for the Human and Artificial Intelligence Conference. The conference will be held at Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School from 3:30-9pm.

PRESENTERS:

Dr. Peter Heusser, MD

Dr. Peter Heusser, MD, is Senior Professor for Medical Anthropology; Holder of the Chair for Theory of Medicine, Integrative and Anthroposophic Medicine; and formerly the Director of the Centre for Integrative Medicine at the University of Witten / Herdecke, Germany. Dr. Heusser lectures worldwide on epistemology and philosophy of science. He has emphasized the need for a sound epistemological basis for science, and in the context of current debates has analyzed basic concepts of physics, chemistry, genetics, morphogenesis, biology, neurobiology, psychology, and philosophy of mind, with an emphasis on the problems of life, mind-body interactions, and free will.

Gopi Krishna Vijaya, PhD

Gopi Krishna Vijaya, PhD, is from Bangalore, India. He has completed his undergraduate physics training from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (India), and his PhD in Physics (Solar Energy) from the University of Houston (USA) in 2014. He is engaged in the study of the Reciprocal System of Physics in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also explores in his work at The Nature Institute how Goethean phenomenology can shed light on theories and phenomena in physics.
